Ima graduated from the University of Iowa in 2023 with a BA in psychology and a minor in American Sign Language. Shortly after graduating, Ima knew she had a passion for working with kids and joined the field of ABA as an RBT working at a clinic in Iowa with kiddos around 2-7 years old. She became fascinated with the science of ABA and was amazed by the incredible impact she could make in her clients’ lives. In January 2025, Ima started her masters in ABA through Florida Institute of Technology to pursue a career as a BCBA. Ima loves coming up with fun, creative ways to play and making meaningful connections with each child. She recently moved back to her hometown here in Illinois and is so excited to join the Autism Planet team!

In her free time, Ima enjoys playing and cuddling with her two cats, curling up with a good book, nature walks, and listening to live music. You may also find her working on several different crochet projects (while attempting to keep her cats from stealing her yarn)!
