Makena Calabrese

Makena is a Registered Behavior Technician currently pursuing a degree in Public Health at University of Kentucky. She began working as an RBT in 2023 and quickly developed a passion for the versatility and meaningful impact of the field. With years of experience babysitting throughout high school and working with children in after-school settings, she has built a strong foundation in supporting and connecting with kids of all ages. She especially enjoys early intervention and helping children grow, develop new skills, and reach important milestones in a positive and supportive environment.

Outside of work, makena enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. Her hobbies include playing tennis, weightlifting, reading, attending festivals and camping.  She values maintaining a balanced lifestyle and brings the same energy, patience, and positivity from her personal life into her work with children and families.
