Shyla’s journey working with children began when she was just sixteen years old, starting out in childcare. From the very beginning, she had a deep passion for supporting children as they grow, learn, and thrive.

Over the years, she built a strong foundation for hands-on learning and believed in the importance of meeting children at their level—both emotionally and developmentally. Before becoming an RBT, she worked as an Assistant Project Manager, where she developed a unique skill set in problem solving and thinking outside the box—skills she now uses daily to support the children she works with.

Working with children on the autism spectrum has truly become her calling. She has found so much purpose in helping each child discover what motivates them, building connections, and making a meaningful difference in their lives. In her free time Shyla spends time with her fiancee, Great Dane (Cleo), and orange cat (Simba).
